SS House of Couture

The Queens, NY born Ms. Sheena Cruz is the Founder and Creative Designer of SS House of Couture LLC. She is more than just a pretty face gracing the covers of fashion magazines and her @ss_hoc Instagram page.

She is a Lantin  fashion mogul of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent building a legacy that will outlive the whims of today’s fashion trends. She is the manifestation of hard work, creative determination and educational perseverance.

Behind The Brand

Though known for its unique and time-bending looks, has recently expanded its high fashion urban boutique from custom outerwear and cut & sew services to stylist services for photoshoots, video shoots, movies wardrobes, and red-carpet events.

Sheena’s SS House of Couture’s success expanded her services in January 2019 to include fashion design consulting for clients looking to create their own apparel line. SS House of Couture’s motto is “Bringing your vision to life through thread & style”.

You may have seen SS House of Couture items on the covers of Industry Rules Magazine (August 2015) and Fashion Gxd Magazine (February 2019, Summer 2019). Who knew that at 34 years young, Sheena would be a sought-after panelist for the May 2019 Essence of a Boss by Essence Magazine?!

SS House of Couture hosts a minimum of three Pop-Ups around New York City to engage and break bread with her dedicated consumers and supporters.

SS House of Couture’s name was inspired by Sheena’s two daughters Shayla (18 yrs.) and Soraiya (8 yrs.), the driving force of Sheena’s success in the fashion industry. Her daughters inspired SS House of Couture to create authentic programs that will empower women to pursue their dreams and find their true purpose in life.

Sheena’s programs via SS House of Couture have guided young children to build self-confidence, promote creativity in the arts. These programs included teaching students’ skill sets that afford them prominent positions in the fashion industry.

Sheena is building a fashion dynasty for her children that they too can take the skills handed down through generations and make something great happen for themselves and the community through “Thread and Style”.  Therefore, Sheena will be implementing an event for families called “Paint and Shop” and an internship program for children in the shelter system of New York City.

Sheena’s Mission

Being a 21century Latin woman her mission is to inspire all women to pursue their dreams, overcome any fears or obstacles and try to find their true purpose in life. To offer programs to her community that guide young children, build self confidence, promote creativity in the arts and special skill sets in those interested in the fashion industry would be a dream come true for her.  Sheena wants to build a fashion dynasty for her children that they too someday can take the skills handed down through generations and make something great happen for themselves and the community through “Thread and Style”.

“How can I send a Bomb Ass review!? Everything I purchased years ago still stands in great condition! The t-shirts, the hat, and the jacket! And not to mention anything that I’ve modeled in the past and recently. It’s the quality for me! Especially the passion and the drive behind each piece!
